EO Scavenger Hunt

By downloading, installing, or using the EO Scavenger Hunt app (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
EO Scavenger Hunt is a mobile application that facilitates team-based scavenger hunt events. The App allows participants to view hunt items, submit photo completions, track team scores, and view leaderboards during organized events.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account using your email address or a supported third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Upload only appropriate photos that are relevant to scavenger hunt items
- Treat other participants with respect
- Not attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or game mechanics
- Not upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws
5. User Content
By uploading photos and other content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App (including activity feeds, event recaps, and leaderboards) for the purpose of operating the scavenger hunt experience.
You retain ownership of all content you upload. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EO Orange County and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The EOOC name, logo, and branding are trademarks of EO Orange County.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or free from errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EO Orange County shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
